Service area questions
Do you charge a travel or trip fee for towns outside Philadelphia?
Our pricing is flat and quoted up front before any work starts, so you’ll know the full cost for your address when you call. If a location falls far enough out that scheduling or travel affects the price, we’ll say so on the phone rather than adding it to the invoice later.
My town isn’t on this list. Can you still come out?
Very likely. The pages above cover the towns we work in most often, but we serve Philadelphia plus Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties broadly. Call 267-312-8232 with your address and we’ll confirm whether we can cover it.
Are you licensed to work in all of these municipalities?
TotalPower Electrical Services LLC holds Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor registration PA197924, and our technicians are OSHA 30 certified. Electrical licensing and permitting in Pennsylvania is handled at the municipal level, so requirements differ from township to township — we handle registration and permits with your local code office as part of the job.
Who pulls the permit — you or me?
We do. For work that requires a permit and inspection, we file with the municipality, coordinate the inspection, and stay on the job until it passes. You don’t need to deal with the code office.
Do you handle both homes and businesses in these areas?
Yes. Residential work runs from single outlets to full rewires, and our commercial side covers tenant fit-outs, three-phase equipment wiring, lighting retrofits, and maintenance. Some towns lean heavily one way — Horsham and Fort Washington bring more commercial work, for instance — but both are available everywhere we serve.
How fast can you get to me in an emergency?
Response time depends on where you are and what’s already scheduled, so we won’t promise a number we can’t hold. Call 267-312-8232 and we’ll give you a straight answer on timing — and tell you what to shut off in the meantime if the situation is unsafe. See our emergency electrical services page for what qualifies.
